Good evening everyone. I must say that when the Steelers lose, it leaves me a little sour. However, tonight Annika made me so proud, that even a Steelers loss can't wipe the smile off of my face.
In an effort to support Junior golf, Rolex, and Ginn Reunion Resort, which is hosting the Polo Junior Championship this week, Annika attended the Rolex AJGA Awards Banquet tonight. It was a lovely evening in which the best juniors in the country were honored for their incredible achievements. Having Annika as a surprise guest at the dinner seemed to make it that much more special for them....especially when the former little girl from Sweden who used to three putt to avoid giving winner's speeches, captivated a room with an eloquent talk that came from the heart. She shared some stories with which the juniors could relate, and stressed the importance of working hard and following their dreams. As the tears welled in my eyes, I couldn't help but take it all in...the proud parents, the wide-eyed kids, and the standing ovation for one of the game's greats sharing her passion for life. It was a touching scene that I was proud to witness!
Annika är alltid ett föredömme vid intervjuer och banketter. Hela hennes personlighet utstrålar värme och glädje. Bara att fortsätta på den inslagna vägen.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for sharing that story about Annika. It's obvious that you two are energized, creative and your combined efforts will make that much needed difference. My family would like to make a donation to Annika’s Foundation. What’s the best way to go about doing that? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to all. (Cats included)

Mike,
We so appreciate YOUR perspective of life shared with Annika. It's awesome at your willingness to share with us because with this sharing we get to feel like those "inside the ropes" rather than just outside!!
Our best to you both for just being "real", courages people; such a much needed breath of fresh air in today's world. We're "proud" of you!! YUP!!
It's fun to wonder what groundbreaking stuff is in your futures, personally and professionally.
Sorry to all the Steeler fans, but gotta go with the Broncos on this night!

Very sad day indeed when the Steelers lose. Let's hope we don't give the Dolphins their first win. GO ANNIKA!
P.S. I think Polamalu must still be hurting!?
