Happy Holidays! My name is Pam Kehoe and I am the Director of Operations at the ANNIKA Academy. I began working with Annika in January just as the Academy building started taking shape. It has been a busy and exciting year at the Academy as we completed the building phase, organized programs, developed marketing materials and designed ANNIKA Academy retail items and products. Annika has always been the primary contact for decisions at the Academy....right down to the towels in the locker rooms. Her continued involvement at the Academy would probably amaze most people.
As Christian stated, we think one of the most rewarding parts of our job at the Academy is seeing the happiness and passion in our guests during their stay. Their testimonials of success and inspiration make it easy for us to continue to strive to be the best!
Glad you're aboard Pam, looking forward to making my way to the Annika Academy to experience the "passion for life" and golf that is the atmosphere there!

Golfdeciple54,
Glad to read you are planning on making a trip to the ANNIKA Academy. My experience at the Academy in May was a unique and beneficial one. Pam, along with the entire staff makes you feel very welcomed. Annika is very hands on there just as she is on this blog. You will leave the Academy sharing her passion and looking forward to attending again.

Pam...thanks for posting! All...Pam is the glue holding the Academy together! :)
Annika and I had a great day today in Seattle visiting with Cutter&Buck. They have an AMAZING distribution system and Annika met with all the employees. We have some cool videos to come of her working on future clothing lines. Off to British Columbia for a course design visit tomorrow...in the snow!!

Pam,
Glad to hear from you!! As the Director of Operations, Pam oversees the whole Academy from a daily perspective. She has been an instrument part of our success. Pam is right, when you attend the Academy, you will be sharing my passion.

Loved seeing Annika cut the ribbon on Opening Day - since we hadn't seen her much during that time - and the academy sounds like it has an amazing team of people working there.
I only wish I had taken up golf earlier - I grew up a soccer kid - high school, college and beyond - and it didn't leave time for much else.
Then my dad gave me a set of clubs for my 29th birthday - said try this now Jilly - and I fell in love - the wonderful thing about golf is - it is never too late to start!
I have been playing golf for about 8 years now - with a 3 1/2 year old my rounds have drastically decreased - however my love and passion for the game have only grown by sharing it with my daughter.
My daughter jumps up for a high five when Annika hits it close from the fairway - and gives me knuckles when the birdie putt goes in. Sometime in 2008 she will get to watch Annika play in person - that will be priceless.
Anyway, I plan to make a trip to the academy in the next year. I am hopeful it is benficial for the passionate golfer who just loves to play the game!
Can't wait to visit, learn something and have a great experience - all the best to Team Annika.

Jill. That's a great story about your daughter, maybe you should get her started on playing some golf in a few years. Sounds as if she'll like it and you will get to play more. We look forward to having you at the Academy and we will work any rust out of your game that comes from not playing much. All the best to you too, thank you for the kind words.

Mike,
Looking forward to the clothing lines that you're coordinating with Cutter&Buck.
Hmmm . . . I'm looking forward to getting some of the colorful visors with the ANNIKA logo that we see Annika wearing!! Good enough for her, good enough for me!!
I tell ya, since the blog came online, we're are like a bunch of gleeful kids, getting to hear from everybody and even say our piece.
Gotta Go!

To Golf54deciple,
Good news! Have you been to a Golf54 program? I was out to Phoenix last December for one. This blog really gives you a chance to see how much Annika really has to do, besides getting around a golf course. She should be giving a time management course. It's amazing!

Christain,
Moni has a toddler 7 iron and a putter in her little bag...she loves golf!
She has so much fun with it - she tells us all "feet forward - 2 hands on the club - look at the ball - swing!"
It's great to share with her...

To Annkica the Cat,
Haven't gotten the priviledge of attending a Golf54 program out in Phoenix yet, but dreaming and saving up for it to be sure (perhaps as a birthday present in spring 2009!!)
Meanwhile I devour Pia & Lynns' bookS and visit the website to document planning & learning in MyGolf54.
I've found that cultivating "seeds planted" by embracing the TIME it takes to "see" a harvest is the most intriging aspect of the whole process.

Golf54deciple,
What's better than attending a session with Pia & Lynn? Attending a program with Pia, Lynn & Annika. Which was my good fortune and privilege this past May. It is still hard for me to believe that amateur golfers (I’m a 19 handicap) have the opportunity to improve their game with such expert coaching. Pia and Lynn’s books as well as Annika’s provide a great formula for success and happiness in golf and life itself. You are in for a great experience and it will be worth every penny that you are saving when you get the chance to attend the ANNIKA Academy & a Golf54 program. And in the meantime - you get to converse with Annika on this blog!

Now that the kids and grandkids have left after the Thanksgiving holidays I can take the time to agree with Mike as to you being "the glue"....Having had the opportunity meeting and touring the Academy with you easily convinced me of your dedication to helping Annika "share her passion".
Happy holidays to you and all the "academics".

Pam, I see that you are from a suburb of Chicago. Is it Bolingbrook or do you have family that grew up there? I remember a Kehoe family in Bolingbrook.
