Greetings from Lake Tahoe. As you probably have seen on TV, the Sierras have been hit by a big storm. We have received more than 5 feet of snow in the last week. The powder is amazing and it is like a winter wonderland here.
I love skiing because on the slopes I am able to relax and focus on nothing but my next turn. There are so many great resorts in this area, however, we seem to always return to Northstar. It is a wonderful family resort with a high level of service, which makes it a wonderful vacation destination. All the best and I'll be checking in on my return from vacation.
I'm jealous! I was hoping to get up to Tahoe to snowboard last week but couldn't swing it. Enjoying golf on the Central Coast though. Good luck in 2008!

Hi Annika & Mike too,
Enjoy the rest of your vacation.
And.. A while back you asked me to give you strokes. I agreed. Lotta thinks you should give me strokes. I wrote to Lotta that the solution would be giving the strokes and letting you use 3 clubs....
And thanks for one of those 'Ah Hah' moments. I just recorded Annika Swings with the Kids on the GC. You demonstrated how and why you keep your right shoulder level to make sure you turn and not slide. That was very helpful.
So next week I'm back to Reunion and will work on that - but most important my short game!
Safe travels home!

Hi Annika:
I sure miss skiing in Tahoe (and Mammoth). We ski at Big Sky now. Yellowstone Club!! Are you still considering? I was always partial to Squaw. Best runs by far. Heavenly was fun for one time - because you could say you skied in two different states. Northstar has some great skiing, as well. Usually fewer people, too.
Are you recognized on the slopes/lift lines? In the chalet? Do you have to sign autographs (and photos) while you're on vacation?!!!

Most excellent time to be in Tahoe...so beautiful.
I'm taking my sales team to Northstar for a kick-off meeting in early February - great resort with so much to do. The infamous Wii with PGA Golf will be coming along as a team builder. I thought the perfect schedule was me training folks in the am, skiing in the afternoon and golf at night!
And I haven't been able to play against you yet - so no score to report - I am definitely working my way up!
I know it is a long way off but do you know if you are playing in the new Kapalua tournament in October - we just confirmed our hotel and air...
Enjoy the snow...

B.K....Annika's kind to me on the slopes for the most part. I can keep up with her on the smooth "corduroy" runs, but I don't win too many style points. We do mostly the more difficult Blue and smoother Black Diamond runs. However, once we get "powder" or moguls brought into the mix, it's quite obvious that I can't keep up with her. She is VERY smooth!
I just know I thanked the big man upstairs when she finished the last run injury free!!
