Hello everyone. Thanks again to each of you for all the support this past week. I must admit that starting the year with a victory was pretty special. I look forward to playing this week and hope to keep the momentum going. After a day of snorkeling yesterday with Mike in Hanauma Bay, it's back to work today. We had a good workout this morning and now I'm off to the course to work with Henri and T-Mac. There is always room for improvement. Speaking of improvement, I would like to take a second to thank Callaway for their work with the new TOUR ix ball. Phil and I both won with it last week so if you haven't tried it, I would suggest doing so. That's all for now.

Annika, have you decided whether or not to play The HSBC the following week?

Hi Annika,
Great picture of you and Mike and the Trophy! I look forward to the day when you are holding a Sorenstam- McGee offspring in the same way!
And speaking of improving - I just signed up for school at the ANNIKA Academy during the Ginn Open week. And to all the bloggers - make sure you put a visit to the Academy on your to do list. Your golf game will thank you.
All the best to you Champ in the weeks ahead.

Annika,
You have an awesome team . . . starting with Mike, great "team" photo with the 1st trophy of the year!!!
Glad you took time to enjoy the Islands along with the business at hand of winning tournaments. Keeps it all in balance.
So CallawayGolf is at it again eh??? Well so is Cutter & Buck, 'cuz already one of your new spring clothing items is sold out in a couple of sizes.
I was too slow in clicking the "buy now" button I guess. Hmmmm . . . . there's always room for improvement on my part right?!!

Life looks grand for the two of you...from the slopes of Tahoe to the waters of Hanauma.
And we're teeing it up out at SF Presidio on Wednesday - so I'll have our gaggle of gals try the ix - can't hurt ;) - especially with our room for improvement.
Enjoy the islands...and play well at the Tanah Merah. Glad you'll be on TV when I get home from work this week.

Thanks Annika the Cat! We hope to hold a little one some day. I'm glad you're coming back to the Academy for another great experience!

Golf 54 Deciple, I'm glad you're supporting the ANNIKA line! I am VERY proud of the strides we've made with Cutter & Buck. I have some videos to come from my recent trip to their headquarters. I think the ultimate compliment is having other girls on Tour even inquire about wearing the line!

Thanks Jill B. Enjoy the Bay Area, which is one of my favorite areas. Be sure to check out one of the restaurants I've invested in (Epic Roasthouse or Waterbar) on the Embarcadero. They are fabulous!
Posted by: Annika | February 19, 2008 at 01:47 AM
Holy Great Investment!
Pat Kuleto has a bit of a midas touch. We watched those restaurants being built and we rushed out to both - Epic is absolutely rocking - Waterbar is having a tougher time with a few things...but I am sure it will find it's groove.
It's all about location, location, location - and you can't get much better than the Embarcadero Waterfront in the shadow of the Bay Bridge.

Jill B, yes the the locations of those are amazing. They are actually the first restaurants on the water side of the Embarcadero in 100 years! Pat is a good friend and though we've heard the same things you just said....give Waterbar time and I think it will be great!

Hi Annika,
I have been a huge fan of yours since watching you defend the Open in Pinehurst in '96. My mom and I make the trip to Williamsburg every Mother's Day to watch you play in the Michelob Ultra Open. We missed seeing you last year and hope to watch you return with a vengance this year:-) Are you planning on playing in Williamsburg and what, if any, special preparations do you have to make for Kingsmill? How do you think that course ranks with some of the others on tour? Thanks and best of luck in '08.

Hi Annika & Mike,
Like those videos. You two can also add producing a reality show to your list of things to do.
I don't know if it's my computer - but the Cutter & Buck Video cut out in the middle. The rest played fine.

Hi Annika,
You are back and looking great! I was so thrilled for your victory at the SBS. Good luck at the Fields Open.
PS Love the new ball marker!

Annika,
Just checked out the new videos and it's neat to see whassup at Cutter&Buck, Dubai, Red Mountain, the PGA Show and camel riding.
We did the camel ride when I was about 9 over in Libya. I don't recall being very brave tho :-/ Seemed to me that was my first and last ride. Auh well

How in the world did Phil Mickelson get the latest cover of Golf World? That is an absolute joke! Annika has won over twice as much as Phil and her comeback is a MUCH bigger story. Shame on them for missing that boat!

Our daughters daycare is right across the street and I work right near the Ferry Building...so we will be back to Waterbar and Epic many times in the years to come...
All the best on Thursday...hit it long and straight ; )

Congratulations, Annika, on your win! Including Dubai that makes back-to-back victories: fasten your seatbelts everyone, Annika is definitely back!!! Best of all, though, it's great to see you looking so happy in all areas of life.

I agree with you John. We were surprised by their choice for the cover!!

I played in the Qualifier for our Golf Club Championship. I tried to apply all the principles of good golf and golf course management that I learned at the academy in October. I sure hope that I can continue to advance using "The Passion".

Hey Annika,
It sounds like all is great for you.
I hope you remember your ol' neighbors in San Diego? I wanted to let you know that DePrise is playing golf for the Varsity High School Team. She'll be 16 in April and driving. I was hoping to talk with you about bringing her to your academy in Florida. Please email me directly. Chip & Fire Hose Hans
