Aloha,

It’s the eve of my first tournament of the year and I am excited to be here in Hawaii. I have not played a tournament on the islands for several years, and therefore I am glad to be back.

My offseason was fantastic. I had plenty of time to rest and charge my batteries, and I’m ready for a big ’08. It’s all about the preparation and I feel like am ready physically and mentally. The SBS Open has a solid field, with many of the top 10 players entered, and I think everybody is excited to get going again.

My predication is that this season will be a memorable one. I am playing a full schedule and I can’t wait to tee it up!  

  

My wish come true....

My name is Molly Escordi and I recently got my wish granted to spend the day with Annika at her Academy.  I can't tell you how thrilling my visit with Annika was.  I am so happy I had the chance to meet Annika and she is very sweet.  It is still amazing to me that she had so much time to spend with me and my family and even put up with my sisters and brother at lunch.  We did hear a bunch of great stories.  My favorite story was about the time that she shot 59.  It was great to hear about all the things that were running through her mind, especially before she made that last putt!  The Annika Academy was really nice and everyone that worked there was very friendly!  I could spend every day there and really have fun while working on my golf game.   My family and I also enjoyed the Reunion Resort and hope to go back again.  I can't thank Annika enough for this experience, I will remember it for the rest of my life.  Also thank you to everyone who worked with Annika and Make-A-Wish to help organize this special day.  I will be cheering for you in your tournaments and may even come to watch.
