Dora Garcia

I have faith in your ability and strongly believe that you can do it. Go Annika!

Peg

Good Luck today!
Go Annika Go!

Annika the Cat

Hi Annika,

I think your response to the following question is priceless!

Q. You said you lost a bit of momentum with back to back bogeys, but were you in the moment enough that it didn't actually register, or did it affect you
ANNIKA SORENSTAM: Of course it registered. If I didn't have any feelings then it would be easier to play.

You are playing good golf and as the season progresses it will only get better! The momentum is building.

Robert (Minneapolis)

I agree with Annika the Cat. But more than it being a priceless answer, it was more of a ridiculous question!!

Annika

Thanks Peg. Keep your fingers crossed for a good one today.

Annika

Thanks for the support Robert! We get some interesting questions for sure.

Annika

Thanks Annika the Cat and Dora.

I believe too, but it's going to take a special day. Golf is a crazy game and anything can happen on Sundays. I have to go warm up now.

Tiffany Schoning

Go Annika! All I can remember right now is The state farm when u came back on the final day by a million and shot like 62! Do it again!!!

Shauna

Hey Annika,

Good luck today!!! Play well!!

Golf54deciple

Annika,
I've noticed in several tournaments when a playing partner has shown exceptional poise and composure that you've applauded and gave them a smile of "good job" (saw that smile given to In-Kyung Kim after finishing at the 18th for round 3).

So "turn about is fair play" and soon you'll be getting the same "well done" from the playing partners who recognize your incredible spirit to compete with sportsmanship always evident.

Perhaps at the end of a brillant comback in the final round of this tourny.

Best to you always!!

Peg

Play is Suspended! The clouds opened and raining pretty hard.
Final group are waiting to hit their 2nd shot. Paula hit her 2nd shot to green (about 70 feet to pin)

Peg

Hi Annika,
Seems that you have putting woes. Play is Suspended for the second time.
All pars on front nine. Your only bogie on #10. I hope you get some birdies on the nine.
Good Luck the remaining 8 holes.

Golf54deciple

Looks like round 4 was finally completed. Good job on finishing stronger on the back nine.

The Constructivist

Nice way to finish out the tournament, despite wha must have been frustrating elements to the weekend. Definitely Lorena's week, but the season is looking like it will be even more "memorable" than anyone could have hoped for!

Paul

Annika, another fine tournament, way to go! I wish you could have won, but Lorena was "on a roll" and I'm happy for her. I love it that the LPGA is well-balanced enough that many players have a real chance to win. You're my all-time favorite athlete, though, so I'm always pulling for you to win or at least have a good week, and so far you're three-for-three! You go, girl!

Helen

Great tournament Annika. I think you have let them know that you are back!!!!!

Jeanette Jones

Annika. Your 4th round on the back 9 with the conditions, you should take away the positives.Taking 2nd behind Lorena in this tournament is tremendous. I am so glad you are back. Being able to watch you in the final group is just awesome. Just keep it up and all good wishes each & every day you play.

Peg

Congratulations Annika on 2nd place finish!! Way to go on your last 8 holes. High scores there were many. You finished under par for four rounds. I can't wait until play again.
Go Annika Go!
Lorena played some great golf over the 4 days.
She was best this week.

Annika the Cat

Hi Annika & Mike,

Safe trip home. Nelson, Molly & Nona are missing you. They will help you rest up from a very productive three straight weeks of work!

Shauna

Hey Annika,

Don't be to down about losing because you have had
a fantastic start to the season!! Good luck for the rest of the year and keep up the excellent playing!!

Annika

Hi Friends, I appreciate all you comments. I am very happy with the start to the season. 3 top 5 finishes - I would like to keep that up. Just landed in Tokyo waiting for the next flight to NY. It's a long trip, but I have a few weeks to recharge my batteries. Talk to you all later.

Howard & Helen

What a great tournament! Helen and I are going to watch the tape of the final round now. We are so happy that you played so well. Have a safe trip back to the states. The flight is long but the good memories of your play this week will make the time go faster. When will you compete next?

Ernie

Congratulations, Annika, on your fabulous three week stretch to start the season. Can you let us in on when your next tournament will be?

Mary E.

Congratulations on taking second place in Singapore! You have much to be proud of, with 3 top 5 finishes. It was a very talented group of ladies and you held your own; good for you. Safe journey back to the US. Looking forward to your next competition. Recharge your batteries and we'll be looking for you!

I couldn't get home fast enough yesterday from Tahoe - can't believe the hotel didn't have the golf channel - sheesh!

But we had all 4 rounds tivo'd - and I enjoyed watching the coverage...it was another great performance!

Thank you Annika for working so hard to make it back to the top - 1st Place, 4th Place and 2nd Place. What a tremendous start to 2008...and an absolute pleasure to watch!

And I love the Sunday outfit - you looked great!

B. K.

Annika and Mike,

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mike's grandfather. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Have a safe return-
B.K.

My Grandpa was a great man...quite a character!! He was 88 and lived a a good life. He'll be missed, but his sense of humor and pleasant demeanor will always be with us. :)
