Wish you a low scoring round to make it to 1st place. Roll the Rock!!

Ms54,
Looking at the big picture since we are looking at a new ANNIKA means that you're continuing to learn how to roll all of this into your ULTIMATE dreams, on the course and off.
Play with THAT new resolve and confidence.
The girls have forgotten what it's like to have you post an extremely LOW round and then sit back letting the chips fall where they may.
WE have NOT FORGOTTEN !!!!

Annika,
Good luck!! As Bobby Jones is told in the movie "Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius", "Hit the Hell out of it"!!

This one is over. Great job on fighting for a top 10 finish in this one.
Next week is a new week . . .

Hi Annika,
I am surrounded by 3 Toto Boy Dogs (Cairn Terriers all related - they are crazy) who might as well be out of the Wizard of Oz. They told me to tell you that you are not in Arizona anymore. Rancho Mirage here you come. And they keep talking about some fearless red shoes you wore in 2002 that went for a swim.
They do believe that whatever shoes you wear during the coming week are ready for the same treatment!

Hi Annika,
You're really bummed I guess. Forget about this week. You fought hard to get top ten.
You have 14 rounds under par.
Stay positive! The Kraft Nabisco (Major) is next week. Remember all good feelings in past years.
You can do it.

Annika,
Great birdie on 18. I'll be rooting for you next week for major number 11!! Keep thinking positively!! Good Luck!!!!

Thanks everybody for your support. I appreciate that. It was a good week and I am very pleased about the way I hit the ball. I just have to make some putts. I have arrived in Palm Springs now and getting set for the first major of the year. Keep your fingers crossed for a great week !!

Annika, You played a good tournament, hitting 78% of greens in regulation. This bodes well for the upcoming Major week where ball striking is at a premium. With reversion to the norm, more of your putts will start to fall, I'm sure.

Hi Annika
Melbourne Australia barracks for you at the Kraft Nabisco. You can do it! It will be your first major win for the year.
Keep up the cheerful smile!!!!

hi annika, good luck for next week, and well done on another top ten finish.
Posted by: carol | March 30, 2008 at 11:56 PM
Annika. Followed your scoring thru out the tournament. Seventeen birdies is excellent golf. Sure hope the first major allows you to get the putter reved up a notch to increase your birdies needed to win. A top 10 finish is a good result. All good wishes at Rancho Mirage.

This "Pitching with Purpose" book that David Brooks writes about (link below) sounds like it could easily have been written by Pia. I love Maddux's response "fifty out of 73" about how he had done in his outing. It reminds us to judge by the execution and not the outcome (the best struck putts don't always find the bottom of the cup).

Hello Ms 59
You are playing some great golf!!!! and if memory serves me correctly...you have already won at Mission Hills not once...not twice...but three times already...I feel number four coming on!!!!! I was there for your win in 2002. Anyway no one will be pulling for you harder...so keep it in the short grass!!!!
