Hey everyone. I apologize for the technical difficulties we have had the past 24 hours. I think we are pretty much back on track now.
Greetings from the Stanford International Pro-Am. This is the first year of the event and Stanford Financial Group has stepped up big time with IMG to put on a first class event. It’s a celebrity pro-am format, which is a unique change of pace. I played with Russ O’Brien who works with Stanford, Natalie Gulbis, and Ted Forstmann, the owner of IMG. I felt badly for some of the amateurs today as the wind and hole locations made it very difficult, which resulted in six hour rounds. I hit the ball beautifully and am very happy with my game right now. Tonight we’re going to South Beach to have dinner with Ming Tsai and Stone Phillips. It should be a fun evening! Cheers.

Great first round! You are hitting it great and your putting stroke looked good! Best of luck this week!
Enjoy-

Annika,
Didn't get to get off early to beat it home to see the round, but in checking lpga.com found YOUR NAME is up near the TOP where IT BELONGS!!
Was wondering, are you returning to the Annika Golf that doesn't give a flip whether fast greens (you love 'em) or slow greens (you love 'em), bent, straight, north or south??!!!!
Old putter, new puttter!! You get the picture!!
From the sound of your post for today, that childlike "glee" is returning which means you can "roll with the punches" and land on your feet still smiling while raising the bar of YOUR game.
I'll get to cheer tomorrow so have a great evening and we'll holla at you later . . .
Oh, one more thing, thnx for having empathy on the ameratures playing in the wind storm. Our fame is not like yours, but we have heart and we look FABULOUS in our Annika gear!!

Hi Annika,
Great playing today!!!!!
6 hour round? It's part the game, I guess.
The TV showed Paula, Julie, Christina, and Cristie groups a lot. They showed James Caan and James Blake shots too much.
There wasn't much on Miller Course but they showed you and Natalie. On 14th hole you had bridie putt I thought ball was in the hole but slide by. The next time showed you on 18th hole second shot. The eagle putt was downhill you had birdie putt stress free.
I'll rooting for you.
GO ANNIKA!!!!!!
