Hi Annika -
So glad you are at the top of the tree. Paws are crossed so that you find just enough birdies up there to take home the prize!

Not a run-away Win, but a WIN!! You earned this type of win in preparation for some more up the road.
Way to make confident putts on the 18th!!

Annika,
As you always say this is why you play the game. Glad to see you gain some confidence with the putter this week. That's all you needed to get the victory. Congrats!

Wow! Great job this week! Congrats on a hard fought victory! From what we saw on tv, that was a really tough course so we shouldn't be suprised that you came out on top! Enjoy this win and your week off and we'll watch for good things at Kingsmill.
Enjoy!

GRATTIS !

Charlotta!
You get to wear a newly numbered shirt!! And didn't have to wait too long!

Well done Annika - great win. We didn't get to see any coverage over here in the UK - so we were glued to the real time scoring (waiting for the result of the play off was nerve wracking!). We are delighted that you have your 71st LPGA victory.

Congratulations on a super win....no. 71. As I was watching you out there...I just knew it was going to be your day....never a doubt. Keep it going.

Annika, congratulations on a well deserved victory. It was exciting to watch you and Paula go head to head down the stretch. We are happy that your parents and Mike were there to watch and share in your victory. Now, there is no doubt that Helen and I will be traveling over to the ADT in November. Here's wishing you many more victories in the months ahead. Enjoy the week off...you deserve it.

Annika-I knew you could do it!! I mentally played every hole with you, you were alot calmer than I. Win number 71! What an accomplishment. Congratulations!

Annika,
I agree with Howard&Helen that it was great that Mike and your parents could be there today.
Especially sense they had to watch last week while the "new putter" was being trained!!
Once again, pain turned into JOY!!
It's fun seeing you prevail in all sorts of ways!!

Was wondering . . . when you won your 70th Golf World put an icon in the corner of the front page and featured Phil (who is accomplished it's true!).
Today you win your 71st and Adm Scott won his 6th!! Wonder if you'll get a cover this time . . . .

Annika,
Congrats on another amazing win and in a playoff ! I would certainly agree that it was very steady play by you throughout the tournament with difficult course conditions, especially the final round !

I had to go out in the afternoon so had to tape the last few holes in regulation and rush home to watch it after the fact. Spoke to my sister on the East Coast and told her not to tell me the outcome. Well, it was worth the wait to watch because what a fantastic finish - with soooo much drama! But the best part was that wink and smile at the camera after the win! #71 - what a thrill - you deserve it!

Annika. That was exciting drama you provided down the stretch & thru the playoff. Your ball striking to get the distance you needed on that island green is just something to watch. Your confidence is so evident.Great to see you with that trophy. Enjoy your week away from competition. Look forward to seeing you in person on the course at Kingsmill. Go Annika!

Very calm and steady play especially after that short miss. You've become the "crusty old vet" who may be past their prime but has the intangibles to make up for whatever might have been lost.
Hopefully you'll get comfortable with putting again, I'd hate to see you become one of those that seemingly change putters and grips every other week.
Now if you could only reduce Lorena to tears..., just kidding :-).

Congratulations Annika! Great Sunday afternoon, good luck in Oklahoma, we will be with you all the way.

Annika, congrats on a fantastic win! It was a pleasure to watch.
Enjoy this one and we will see you winning again soon! It is a great 2008.

4/28/2008 Annika, Congrats on your 71st!!What a tough, windy and exciting course. It was high drama and what a marvelous display of patience and professionalism. You are #1. Am so sorry you are not going to be in Tulsa this week. Have been to all of your Tulsa appearances and you will be missed. By the way, Seems Sunday "blue" to you is like tiger "red". You go girl. Annika, You're skipping this week and playing Kingsmill the following week where you did not have a history of playing well. I like your determination to conquer the course. I think you will succeed.
