Annika,
Was refreshing and Very exciting to see the bogie-free play going for the great majority of the round.

appreciated that you didn't settle for mediocrity today and just go through the motions.

we just feel like when you're in the field it should matter

Hi Annika,

How about that Helen winning in a playoff! Now that is a good story.

Glad to see you had a good run of birdies on Day Four. I'm sure those bogies made you hiss a bit. What a game!

Best of luck next week. Paws are crossed that you will be the Open Queen!

So cool to see Alfie pull it off in a playoff. It's pretty special to see her pain-free and getting to enjoy playing.

It's been fun getting to hear more from her since the US Open and to see that energetic personality in action!

Hope you and loved ones had the best time ever visiting Evian this year.

Now go and have an even better time at the British!!

Annika,
Forgot to mention how that Dottie & Brian had mentioned that a "stir" was starting to happen in the clubhouse when the word had come that "someone" was posting a low round and that that "someone" was you.

They WEREN'T SURPRISED that it was you!!!

For what it's worth, just thought you might draw encouragement from that . . . .

Great playing this week! I only wish that you could have come out on top but Helen Alfredsson played really well and there is always next week! Go get your eleventh major!!! I think that it is only fitting that they named the trophy square the "Annika Sorenstam Square" as you have given so much to the game of golf. Good luck next week and God bless!!:)

Annika,
You were -6 thru 12 holes and came 3 straight bogies on #14, #15, and #16. Nice birdie on #17. It was great par safe on #18. Overall it was good round but it could been better.
How COOL "Annika Sorenstam Square" you were surprised at the honor in your namesake. It is in nice place. Will you pictures up on "ANNIKA Photo Gallery"?
Great win for Alfie. I saw you in the celebration with Swedish Flag draped around your body.
GOOD LUCK at Ricoh Women's British Open!!!
Go Annika!!!!!!

Annika,
You are so deserving to have the Evian trophy square named for you. I wish the reception you received walking to the 18th green had been aired. I am trying to keep an archive of your last game played at........Good luck next week. I feel it is going to be a trophy winning game.

Annika -

I recorded and watched a re-airing (from 1996 or so) of a program called "The Wonderful World of Golf" where you played Dottie Pepper head to head in South Carolina. What a time warp to see you at the beginning, 25 years old, right after watching you play this year's Evian Masters.

I would still recognize that swing anywhere. It looked so much the same!

Best of luck as you take that swing to Sunningdale. I think some of your fans might want this for you almost as much as you do.

Have fun!

Annika,

Nice finishing round on Sunday! I know the Evian tournament has a special place in your heart and am so pleased that they are honoring you by naming a portion of it after you. A well deserved tribute to someone who has also been such a vocal ambassador for Evian. Congratulations on another career accomplishment!
