We have arrived at Mar-a-Lago, the beautiful home and resort of Mr. Donald Trump, in Palm Beach. This is the grand finale of the LPGA season. The years' top 32 players in the world qualified for this playoff format. Today was our practice day. I had a good session and played the front nine to get a feel for the course and its condition. I must say, this is probably as good as I have ever seen the course. The fairways are immaculate and the greens are very fast. It sets up perfectly for a good ball striker and a player with good touch around the greens. I love it!! Have a good night.
We are rooting for you one last time (maybe...!) Take moments to enjoy the coming days and thank you again for all the great golf and inspiration on and off the course!

Well I love it, too, Annika! I'm glad the conditions favor you. I can't wait! :-) But I have to, one more day. Have an excellent tournament, Champ! Also have a great Thanksgiving later this month, both you and Mike, and your Academy staff!

Annia,
We give our THANKS whenever there's an openings, so I say mine now, once again.
THANKS for being willing to ride the screaming wild chipmunk of a year!!!
You are SUCH an INSPIRATION and are paired with the best partners in love and life ever.
UNmeasureable JOY to you all!!
Hmmm . . . now it's time to get back to sleep if I can

Good morning Miss Annika......
It is with mixed emotions that I wish you "Good Luck" for this final tournament. I have followed your career since you won your first tournament, and it was at that time I felt I was watching something very good....but never thought that I was seeing the first win of she who was about to become the greatest golfer ever.
Golf, and the LPGA, will still be important to me, but it will never be the same without you in the field.
So allow me to take this moment to wish you the best tournament ever....followed by the happiest marriage, the most beatiful children and the greatest success in business.
As another golf nut would say; THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.
Take good care of her, Michael.

Once again Buzz, we always agree. Also, look at Annika and Mike, I believe they will have very beautiful children.
GOOD LUCK IN ALL , Annika!

Annika,
Just a quick note from 53 year old duffer who admires and respects the game you play and the way you have promoted women's golf. I wish you continued success, health and happiness in the future and hope to play a quick 18 with you someday. I will need at least a stroke a hole...LOL

The saying "play like you practice" is adage of even more than sport, though I think its more learn something of play at practice. No surprise if the playing brings on/out the better of it all. Nice time of the year there. All the best!

Annika: Good luck this weekend. Best for Last!! I just read the Q&A in Golf Digest. My wife and I also went to Whistler/Blackcomb for our honeymoon staying at the Chateau Whistler. Beautiful area. Unfortunately, we had to ski in the rain there (stayed in the bar mostly!!), but we had wonderful powder when we went on to Banff/Lake Louise. Make sure you go there, too!! We stayed at both the Banff Springs Hotel and Chateau Lake Louise. Great skiing and the mountain views are absolutely gorgeous.

Happy holidays, Annika and Mike.

Hi Annika,
I see that you are paired with Yani Tseng @ 11:36AM, being in the next to last group. Glad you had a chance today to try the course out and fit it to your eye. Play well tomorrow and over the weekend at the ADT, we will be cheering for you.
Thank you for all the years of fun and inspiration you have provided your golf fans over the years. The great thing is we will still be able to be in "touch" through your blog! Show 'em who the queen of golf is this weekend!

Annika,
I hope you read these emails because Buzz said exactly what I was wanting to express to you. Good luck this week, thanks for the most memorable golf. Gulp, I can't believe we will really be watching your final tournament. It will be with mixed emotions, wanting you to be happy, but not wanting to let go.

Hi Annika, all the best for tomorrow and subsequent rounds at the ADT; we will be following you all the way! We had a great time today with your group in the Pro-Am - even if it was a long round. We got talking to fellow fans and bloggers - we met some really nice people - there was almost a party atmosphere around you today. Thank you for your usual generosity in granting autographs and photo opportunities with such charm and grace; we so enjoyed walking and talking with you. It is so hard for us to imagine golf without you competing and we will certainly savour the next few days. We wish you the very best of everything - you are a star.

Good Luck this weekend Annika and Buzz is right, the tour won't be the same now...
Robert from Minneapolis- Banff and Lake Louise are my backyard, best skiing in the Rockies! It has snowed here lots in the past few days and I can't wait to hit the slopes!

Hi Annika,
So on the eve of this ADT tourney I share many of the comments posted on this blog. I watched the GC coverage of your Open win in 1995. You were such a little, unassuming, inquisitive kitten. And now - you are the best of breed and always will be.
For the time being your work on the playing field may be coming to an end but this cat has no doubt that your future endeavors will have the same rate of success.
So this week – all paws are crossed so that you will play good golf one Day at a time and on Day Four be right there in the hunt. I will be prowling right alongside.
Go Annika!!!

I envy you Brandy! It's been several years (we ski at Big Sky now) since we were there, but other than seeing the elk lounging in everyone's front yards, I remember the mountains were like seeing the Grand Tetons in every direction. Just incredible. Both hotels were absolutely fabulous, as well.
