Good morning/evening everyone. I hope that all of you had a Happy Halloween! It is Saturday evening here in China and the second round is complete. I am currently tied for second place at six under par. Today, I shot my second straight 69 and trail by five shots heading into tomorrow's final round. I have hit the ball beautifully, missing only two greens in two days, and I have had at least 12 birdie opportunities each day inside 15 feet, but the putts just haven't fallen. I am doing my best to stay patient and remain positive, but I will admit it has been tough. I am really close to taking it deep and it might as well be during the final round to win from behind!
Tomorrow evening after the round I fly through Dubai to South Africa for the opening of the course I designed there. By the time I get home in the middle of next week, I will have literally circled the globe this trip. Mike and Terry are headed to Shanghai tomorrow night for some fun and then they fly back to Orlando Monday afternoon. Have a great weekend and keep your fingers crossed for a win!
Great post. Wow ... everytime you give us some insight on what it takes to endure and overcome ESPECIally when the final "numbers" haven't shown reflected that internal will to win, I'm even MORE amazed at how you've done what you've done on the course, all these years.
Thank you.
Wow... the opening of the course in South Africa at last . . . will you be abe to record some of that event??
Will check the LET leaderboard for you name .... at the top!

Hi Annika,
With at least 12 birdie opportunities staring you down - it's no wonder you are a bit anxious. Gotta love all those GIR Champ!
Paws are crossed. And remember that Lexus commercial. Put the pedal to the metal!
Go Annika!!!!

Annika. Thanks for your post second round note. Sure sounds like you are right there with birdie opportunities just about every green which of course means you are playing your usual consistent style. Here's hoping that your 3rd round continues with those birdies falling for you.You are such an inspiration to those Chinese women on Tour. What a class act to include a last appearance on the Ladies European Tour as you finish out your competitve year. You are right there for a win. All the best!!

Hanging In There! Yea! Sounds great to me! Hey, Annika, don't let those putts frustrate you at least you are close enough on the greens to have the opportunity. Tell yourself the putts are going in, yes! Have a great round tomorrow, and remember have fun. All pressure off. You are the greatest. Nothing to prove. Relax.
WIshing you the best results ever!
