Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We have so much to be thankful for....including your support! Our International Team had a nice Turkey dinner last night, which was not quite the same as being home, but it was sill a lovely evening. This is Mike's favorite Holiday and I think he's missing the American tradition of eating lots and watching football all afternoon! Next year....
The first round of the Lexus Cup starts today with "Foursome" matches (alternate shot). Paula is my Assistant Captain and we are happy with the way our pairings stack up against the Asian Team. I am playing with Angela Stanford today as I feel we have similar games. By the way, I would like to wish her a Happy Birthday today!! We'll keep you posted on the results.
Have a great evening and don't eat too much!
Hey Mike, I'm carrying on your tradition!!! :-) Big A, to hear you say that Angela and you have similar games makes me feel like some big time talent scout! If you did not see elsewhere, I told how I've been watching her with great interest for years! Kinda spooky... I love you and Paula as the captains, 2 ruthless competitors, and I mean that in a very loving Thanksgiving way. ;-)

Duck soccer. Found a turkey, I heard the football games weren't good ones. All the best.

That link is live scoring at the Lexus Cup, which has begun. Presently Annika/Angela are 1 up, and her team is ahead. But it looks like it could be a tight competition.

Loom!!
FANTAZMIC!!! so glad you get to see the Cup. I noticed in the day 2 parings (see link from Peg) that Annika has paired with Suzann. They have been a formiable pair . . . in the past . . .and now??
They want to go out first and hopefully prove a point. Sock-it-to-'em ladies!!

Hi Annika,
You will remin for ever in our memory no matter what you have decided to do in the future. I still hope that you will have few opportunities later one to come back and have fun playing golf worldwide.
Thanks again for everything you brought and you still bring to this game.
I will miss you.
Sincerely.
Gerard (USA)
Please, win this Lexus Cup please!!

Diane, I sympathise with you with no tv coverage. The coverage I watched mentioned it was being shown all around the world, including the golf channel.
Annika & Angela came up against a few birdies and couldn't do much, very much like the USA in the Ryder Cup. (BTW Europe will be winning that back and The Solheim next time!!)

Yeah it was great!! 3 hours today, Sat & Sun!!
Yes, Annika & Suzanne are a good paring, I was at Crooked Stick in The Solheim Cup, I think they were down and trurned their match around. They certainly played well together in Sweden, the Solheim prior to Crooked Stick.

Well Loom, looks like you're in the right half of the world right now for TV. Golf54 said we'll see it some other time here. Go USA and Team International!

A great photo of the team in blue and white! Go get 'em ladies! It doesn't matter who you are paired up with; I know you will play your best and use that competitive fire that we all know you still possess!

Team International looks good in those black and white outfits! Sounds like your Thanksgiving was a different one, but I'm sure fun as well. Good luck with your pairings today; I know you still have that competitive spirit - go get 'em!
