Dubai Ladies Masters - Day One
Annika's storied and historic 15 year professional career reaches its climax this week at the Dubai Ladies Masters. Annika tees off at 8:00am Dubai time (which is 9 hours ahead of the USA eastern time and 12 hours ahead pacific time) which means she'll be up and at em in two hours. You can follow tournament action here and, as always, discuss the tournament in the comments section.
And, if you'd like to reflect on Annika's past accomplishments, check out our commemorative page.
GO ANNIKA!!
Webmaster,
Thnx for the heads up on time difference between Dubai and where we live... Hmmm... let's see now Central Std Time is 10hrs behind Dubai time.
So if I go to bed now, and wake up in three, Annika should have least teed off.... I think!
Either way I'm sure to be up for a pitstop and more fun could I have than to check the Live Scoring?!!
Later Gators!!

Hej Annika 1

So many birdies with a clear statement that you were in your bubble playing Annika Golf. It was fun tracking those holes through the wee hours.
Little shocked to see the results at the finish, but you're there on the front page of the board and WE'RE HERE hissing at those unruly bogeys that tried to steal your thunder.
Looking forward to the broadcast on Golf Channel this evening for sure!!

Winding up -2 on a roller coaster is not exactly Annika Golf... :-) However, sounds like you might be playing relaxed, free, and easy. There is more than one way to win. Go Annika!!!!

Dee,
I agree, there is certainly MORE THAN one way to prevail, and we seen ANNIKA patiently work her way to the finish more than a few times right?
Let's enjoy the pure shots from the first round on the broadcast.

Boy I messed up on typing Lotta's name as "Loota" and Gosh as goswh!!
You thought I was trying to type in Sweedish right?

Posting a 69 on opening day is good. You are right in the hunt. Teach Terry one of those chants and he can relax you from tee to green.
Good luck tomorrow.
Nice even round for you Lotta. I'm pulling for a nice high finish for you, too. Good luck, Pixie.

Hey Annika!
Solid rounds for you and Charlotta! Good luck the rest of the way! Your only four back!

Great job, Lotta! You rock! It's great you and Annika can both play in this tournament.

-2 to start the first round is fantastic! I'm sure some nerves/anticipation had set in but you are still playing terrific golf. It must be so nice for you and Charlotta to be playing in the same tournament - you can support each other in many ways! There's nothing like a sister!
Rest up, meditate, and come out firing tomorrow! GO LOW, girl!
