LPGA Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sorenstam and her boyfriend of three years, Mike McGee, were married on Saturday near their home in Orlando, Florida.
The 125 guests attended an afternoon ceremony and evening reception at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club. Travis Wilhelm officiated the ceremony. Wilhelm is minister at Christian Campus House at Trine University (Angola, IN).
Annika’s maid of honor was her best friend from Stockholm, Sweden, Maria Bertilskold and Mike’s best man was Stan McCamon from East Palestine, OH.
McGee, the son of former PGA TOUR and CHAMPIONS TOUR golfer Jerry McGee, has served as Managing Director for the ANNIKA brand of businesses since Dec. 2006, when he relocated to Orlando.
The couple will be busy over the next two weeks prior to their honeymoon ski trip. Annika will be hosting the first major initiative of her foundation, the ANNIKA Invitational, an AJGA event featuring 60 of the top female juniors from around the world. The event will be held at her academy at the Ginn Reunion Resort next weekend.
Following the ANNIKA Invitational, Annika will appear at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando and then she will be honored at the ANNIKA Celebration on Feb.1-2-3 at Ginn Reunion Resort. The ANNIKA Celebration will feature a skins game between Annika, Lorena Ochoa, Paula Creamer and Natalie Gulbis.

Our congratulations and best wishes are with with Annika & Mike and your update fills in the gaps. In typical Champ fashion, no rest for the Newlyweds. And after watching those two on the Blog this past year they would not have it any other way.
So instead of following Annika’s tournament schedule, we turn our attention to the announcement of when there will be the pitter-patter of little feet to go along with the pitter-patter of little paws!

Awaken in the night and just figured I'd hit the refresh button (I tend to leave annikablog displayed and whalahhh!! These pictures bring tears to my eyes. Lovely, timely,SOOOOO right...
You two are GEOGREOUS--together.
Love the angle of the first picture of ANNIKA!!! Wow! We're getting use to stunning photography, and really appreciate your "sharing your passion"--in this case Sir Michael with us.
One of my favorites is the pic where Mike is looking at you with admiration in his eyes--taken in the morning? The slight blue tint sugguests that this might be the case. That's cute

Hello everyone....
Thanks to all of you for your kind words. This past weekend was truly magical...from our rehearsal dinner Friday night to the Steelers dominating performance yesterday! Of course, Saturday's wedding was the best part. Annika looked so incredible. We had a fabulous celebration with family and friends...my feet are still sore from dancing. We have more great photos and some video to share eventually.
We would like to give a HUGE thanks to Selena Nobilo for coordinating everything. You may recognize that name...her husband Frank is a Golf Channel analyst. She's done it all and is the best!!
