Annika Honored with GOLF CHANNEL Special

Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET, GOLF CHANNEL will air ANNIKA Celebration, a 90-minute special highlighting all of the activities surrounding the recent three-day event celebrating Annika Sorenstam’s illustrious career.  Hosted and narrated by Kelly Tilghman, the special will feature an 18-hole exhibition match at GINN Reunion Resort, pitting Natalie Gulbis and world No. 1 Lorena Ochoa against Paula Creamer and former world No. 1 Sorenstam.  Also featured in the special will be tributes from fellow LPGA professionals, friends and celebrities in attendance for the ANNIKA Celebration dinner, as well as a special concert by longtime friend Darius Rucker.

Really looking forward to the Golf Channel broadcast of this celebration because as far as I'm concern it will represent a visit to the Academy and therefore I cast myself in the roll of a visitor who has become a friend!

I figure this tribute set in the personal environment will give us a glimpse of how "passionate" those near & dear to both of you feel about the incredible journey you've had up until that point.

The Celebration was fun...to see...and record. Finalizing the disc as we speak.

But I really enjoyed the personal interviews and the comments from Mark about how you were his 1st client and after you won your 1st US Open both of you were like...what do we do??

Well you learned well together.

What's more during the dinner tribute the split screen images of you & Mike with the final celebration of your wedding were especially touching. Seems like I tear up too easily now....hmmmm... And to think now you'll be parents... that's way cool.
