This project is a 27 hole facility located in the suburbs of Seoul. Hanwha Golden Bay Golf and Resort is a wonderful area consisting of beautiful mountain and ocean views. Hanwha is huge here and they have businesses ranging from chemical to personal and commercial real-estate, to resorts.
This is my first design in Korea and I am very excited to be part of this opportunity. As you all know, golf continues to grow in this part of the world and thanks to players like Se Ri Pak, women golfers are very popular here. The sun is shining and I better get going.
We have a long day ahead as we are covering all 27 holes today. The routing of the course was done months ago and the bulldozers are now working full time so that the shaping will be finalized in a month. The plan is to start seeding the grass this spring/ summer. So far we are on schedule. Have a good day / good night….
Hi Annika,
The last time I saw you was on Wednesday. You were busy at work – giving a clinic at The ANNIKA Academy. And now here you are in Korea – busy at work – designing 27 holes of golf.
You have always been a master of efficiency and consistency. I bet you that this Fall you could play nine - have the baby at the turn - and still finish your round!
Safe travels!
Go Annika!

Hey....that AtC has put you on a tight schedule. The funny thing about it is....I think she's right.
Just a thought....When you cross the International Dateline, do you skip a day of "morning sickness", or does it hit twice?
Take good care of yourself, as I know you will, 'cause there are a ton of surrogate grammas and grampas taking this journey with you and Mike.
Cheers

Wondered if you would be working more on course designs during this time and sure enough you are. Congrats on the adventures in Korea.
So has the course at Patriots Point been re-opened?

Hej Annika
Läste att du var i Korea. Hoppas att din tid där blir händelserik. Själv är jag så lycklig att du är gravid. Hoppas att kunna följa dig under tiden via blog eller Facebook. Saknar dig i rutan(TV).

Hi, Annika,
It must be a highlight of your golfing career to design golf courses. I know the Korean people are excited to have you there to design the course.
Yes, Se Ri has done a lot for women's golf in Korea. Great role model for them. As you have been for girls and women all over the world, especially Sweden and America.

AtC, great seeing you at the Academy the other day. I heard you signed up for a package again. This time we will be playing together !
I hope you are right with the birth - it would be a nice scenario to make the turn and out the little one went. See you

Hi, Annika,
You look well. I hope you feel well, too. Thanks for always keeping us informed about our favorite golfer!

Hey - just wanted to say I missed watching you and Terry today on the golf channel. Karrie and Suzanne were stepping up this week. Congrats to Karrie on another win. Miss seeing you in the mix though! Love your ANNIKA fragrance by the way. I was reading the Apr issue of golf digest when this wonderful smell seemed to come from no where. I knew what it had to be before I even found the page. Great job - as usual!

Wow, designing a course in Seoul. Land is precious there, but I'm sure once it's completed, it will get loads of use by all the golf fanatics there.

Golf has gone such a way from the pasture as it began. Still, in Korea the back forty, garden and hayfield might be well made of to play a fine round. Dawning till dark. Wonder if many courses play the finishing holes into the high ground of the sunset. Extraordinary picture from the beach. All the best.
