Speaking from experience, you will find that at the end of your journey (the 9 month one) the real journey begins. You did well in choosing to not use the " R" word...because you will find that with a new baby there will be a drastic change in your lives....and it's a wonderful change.
Being able to tag along with you two lovely people thru this joyous journey helps this old man relive the six journeys taken by my wife and me....the last of our journies being 33 years ago.
Enjoy the journey kids....it's a wondrous time.
Cheers

I've enjoyed watching you play through the years and congratulate you on your marriage and new addition to your family. You have been a wonderful role model for many, many women, me included. You go girl !

You have been my role model since I was a young girl...The tournaments just aren't the same now that you're retired! But I understand the choices you have made, as many of us have made similar choices. This child will definitely be the best gift you and Mike will receive in your lifetimes, and I cannot wait to see how he/she grows! Enjoy the journeys, current and future, and take advantage of all the time you get to spend with your family!

You honor us all by allowing us to follow along on your journey. As a mom of twins, I have to say pregnancy is a spectacular time and it certainly brough my husband and I even closer. I wish that for you and Mike. The first pregnancy is like no other, so enjoy the journey and thanks again for allowing us to come along.

Annika and Mike:
You thought teeing it up in a major is challenging mentally - you have not seen anything yet:-) Seriously congratulations!! It is the greatest gift parents can get and it is truly a blessing from above. Staying in the moment brings on a whole new meaning when you are a parent...look at it this way, golf has prepared you two to be wonderful parents.
Best Wishes

Wow how awsome is your news. I am soooo very happy for you. I rode with you on your golf career and credit you with instilling in me the love of golf. By studying you, your swing and reading your book, I improved my game. I will say I have lost my passion for the LPGA now that you are gone, but you are living life the way you should. As the mother of two I can tell you that what a wonderful adventure awaits you and Mike!

Hi Annika,
Yes, parenthood is quite the adventure and a lifelong learning experience at that. Unconditional love will grab at your heartstrings and make you a better person (if that is possible!) Your skin will glow; your whole person, in fact, so enjoy it!
