I want to wish Michael Allen some luck today in the Senior PGA Championship. I served as his agent for four years when I worked with International Golf Partners. He is a great guy with a great family. He strikes the ball as well as anybody on any Tour. He went from being ready to give up the game while on the Nationwide Tour at the end of 2003 to keeping fully exempt status on the PGA Tour right up until now. Many of those years he secured his card through a high finish at the end of the year or at Q-School.
A win today will give him fully exempt status on the Champions Tour.....which actually cracks me up. How can you be fully exempt on the PGA Tour but not get into Champions Tour events. At any rate, I hope all of those experiences lead him to victory today. He deserves it!

Hey Papa!
Great story and finish. Talk about 3 picture perfect shots on 18!
Congratulations Michael Allen!

Mike,
I was rooting hard for Michael because you told me what a great guy he was. Really happy for him and his family. He deserved to win 'cause he played better than anyone in the field. The guy who finished 2nd is also a supper guy...so the PGA was going to get a great Senior's Champion no matter which guy won. Is he still with Ken??

Mike,
It's cool when your parents chime in from time to time--this time your Dad--bet he was thrilled beyond measure to see a couple of friends continuing to do so well at their next challenge.
And Yani's win?!! Guess there's still the "anointing of The Champ" in your previous house eh?

Thanks Dad. No, he's not with Ken's management team any longer.
GD54...Yes, it was a great win for Yani. She got her first sign at Lake Nona. When someone wins, they put a sign up just inside the gates congratulating them. That has to be a big budget!

Wow Mike,
What a special "neigborly" thing to do with the champions sign hanging. So does Annika have a whole gate covered!?

They take them down after about a week, and to be honest I don't know what they do with them after that. I do know they could wallpaper the entire clubhouse with all of Annika's. :)

hmmm... perhaps you might track them suckers down and decorate "a" trophy room with 'em!

The Lakers winning the series against the Nuggets has brought the Mile High City down BELOW sea level so it's Go Magic for this kid.
So far so good tonight (Saturday)
