Greetings from LA. This is Mike and I am in the airport waiting for my flight back to Orlando. Annika is now on her way to Korea to join Henri and Kai for an "ANNIKA Academy on the road" clinic. She then goes to the Philippines and China for Course Design visits.....busy Mama!
Our wine launch went well and we spent the past day and a half here in LA for the FOG (Friends of Golf) outing at Bel-Air Country Club. We stayed at the Hotel Bel-Air, which was FANTASTIC! It was the 30th year of the event that benefits junior, high school, and college golf. Each year they have an honoree, and those have included the likes of Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, etc. This year they honored Annika, and her Foundation. Peter Ueberroth was also named their "Man of the Year."
It was a special day that started with a clinic from Annika, Dave Stockton, Ken Venturi, and Duffy Waldorf, which was fun to watch. She then went around and greeted the participants. There was also an auction and a nice dinner. As always, she spoke beautifully!
Have a great day!
It's not often that you and Mama take different tacks, is it, Mike?
Now you will have to use your "pizza oven" (ugh) until the top chef gets home.
Take care

Haha that made me laugh Buzz...
Have a safe trip back Mike, and have a safe trip all over Annika...
Mike, are you going to be watching the Magic play the Celtics?

Boy aren't we something... seems like our hearts bleed for "poor Mikey" whenever he's apart from Annika!!
It's like he's become our little bro who we've got to take care of...
But you're right Buzz.
I just wonder, does Christin go along with Annika as her assistant when she has overseas trips?

Hey Papa,
Great to hear from you. The latest Blog postings are terrific!
I am relieved you are heading home. With all this baby talk, Nelson, Molly & Nona are feeling a little insecure. I told them not to worry - there's plenty of love to go around!
So here is their latest menu that they have prepared just for you in Mama's absence:
Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys: An enticing Tuscan-inspired recipe with yellow-fin tuna in a savory sauce, complimented with long grain rice and garden greens.
Chocolate Mouse for desert.
Cheers!
AND - Continued safe travels to the 3 McGees & The ANNIKA Academy Team Too!

Thanks Buzz. Last night it was a ham sandwich. Tonight will be grilled chicken. I'm trying to shed a few lbs to surprise her when she gets home. :)

Leslie,
Yes, I'll be watching the Magic and the Cavs closely! Both are hanging in there thus far!

Golf54deciple....No, Kristin is not with Annika. She goes on some domestic trips and went to Sweden two years ago. She is actually VERY expecting herself....any day!
Between security, IMG, tournament/event hosts, or sponsors, she is always in good hands. IMG takes great care of her on the Course Design visits, and Henri and Kai are there now for the Academy portion in Korea.

Thanks ATC!! That sounds like something Annika would make for me. I admit being spoiled rotten!
I actually skyped yesterday and the babies could see and hear Mama on the screen. They were purring and scraping their chins on my screen....VERY cute!

Thanks Andrea B! I am proud of Annika joining the mix. She actually did it when we first came out with the blog. She was way ahead of her time. I believe it was "Annika by the minute." However, it didn't work very well, so we scrapped it. I still give her credit for being "with it!" :)

Hey Mike,
Will you be having a litle Annika Syrah with your chicken?
We just wanted to say again how much fun we had last weekend at the wine launch! It was wonderful to meet both you and Annika - such gracious people you are! We've been fans of Annika the Golfer for a long time, but through our experience at the Academy, this blog, and now the wine launch, we are even BIGGER fans of Annika the person! Thanks for sharing your lives with all of us and for being such down-to-earth people.
Take care-
BK

Mike,
Thnx bunches for the wonderful update concerning Kristin "another" Mama-to-be!! This is the year of producing life--one way or the other.
That's really cool to hear that the ANNIKA Academy is mobile and agile. We'll be following Annika on Twitter and you on the blog!!
Hip-hip to the Orlando Magic, but friend I've got to cheer for the Nuggest--NOOOObody picked them to do anything but I think Mello's experience at the Summer Olypics has really mellowed him to become a true team player and with Chauncey Billups back home, there is so much more chemistry.
Cheering for them for however far they happen to advance...

Just received my ANNIKA Fragrance and I love it--will remember to move with "confidence" since that's what Annika wants us to feel when we wear "the" scent!
Back the link now to order another bottle to keep at work. YUP!!
One thing tho, will you consider having a "purse/golf bag" size eventually?

Received ANNIKA Fragrance today. I love it, too.

Mike,
I enjoy watching the Cavs play, Lebron is just amazing at the game. Although, I have always been a celtics and suns fan. I can remember being 5 and 6 years old and watching Larry bird play on tv with my grandmother, she was a big big fan and it's stuck ever since!!!

Peg,
I'm wearing some today to see the reaction...

Mike. Thanks for your update of 5/5. Reading comments on the blog helps me understand that Annika is safe & secure as she travels to two of the courses she has designed. So glad the Wine launch went so well. I am hoping my Annika fragrance arrives soon. Attended 1st Round of Michelob Ultra Open in Wmsburg yesterday and although Annika is unable to defend her championship, her life size Championship banners are prominently displayed around the course. Picked up an ANNIKA Poster which will be framed soon. HAPPY SOON TO BE MOTHER'S DAY to Annika.

Glad everyone likes the fragrance! Jeanette, they sent us some of the posters....brought back some fun memories! I hope they don't break her scoring record there tomorrow. :)

Mike,
just called and wished my Mom a Happy's Mothers Day and she was all excited about the Nuggets.
She says the city is pretty excited to see them playing well and ferarlessly at this point.
We'll see if they can close out the Mavs
