WOW! Tough choice. Many beautiful names. I'm sure you meant to put "Eileen" in there, but just forgot, right? :-)
Hope all continues to go well and that you're feeling great!! Take good care.

How fun! I voted for sure!
So I'm at the Solheim now and logged onto LPGA to check out the daily schedules, and BAM first page is 'Annika's Solheim Moments' video (presented by Rolex)...it was that moment that made me truely realize you are not here. WOW...
Hey bloggers...anyone else here? Would love to meet any of you...we can reminesce some of our own Annika moments?
Take care Annika and Mike!

Gee, I kinda like "Molly" McGee.....
The fact I have a daughter and granddaughter named "Molly" hasn't swayed me
for a moment....Hah.
Take care

Well personally I think Jillian McGee is the way to go but Madelyn sure is nice too...
Can't believe you won't be playing this week - it will be so different without you.
Have a great weekend.

Annika & Mike, loved the recent pics. So happy about the olympic news. I know you were a HUGE influence. Thank you for your breast cancer awareness support as well as your continued support to grow golf. My daughter enjoys so much tapes of your previous matches.
And Thank you so much sharing your life experiences with you fans. You are truly a gifted and blessed spirit of great purpose. Can't wait for the blessed day for "Mika Mollie McGee" to arrive!! Whatever her name, she is one lucky young lady. Hope all is well with Mom and Dad. Stay healthy. prandall

Me gusta Julia. Un toque latino para una mami sueca y un papi local.
Mucha suerte desde Argentina

Oh joy!! This is so much fun!!
There were a couple of suggestions above that tugged at my heart, but I have a "humble" suggestion just like all the other bloggers.
Analynn Nichole McGee--
YUP!! Glad you asked!!and you can call her "Nicki" for short. But should we spell the Lynn part with one "n" or two?
And concerning Solheim Cup--the lpga did well in putting a short video clip by Rolex of one of your highlights in the 2003 match. Gosh that was a special one and GOSH do I miss you on the tour--but I LOOOVE where your life is with Mike and "Analynn".
Sharing your passions and living your dreams in other life pursuits is CLEARLY needed and world-impacting after only just a few months.
You've shown GREAT WISDOM in providing the blog so that we poor souls who need our ANNIKA fix can survive.
I'm not foolin'--I'm serious...

Will the baby's last name be McGee, Sorenstam or McGee-Sorenstam?
Posted by: Nikki | August 18, 2009 at 10:16 PM
Well I voted for Ava...because I liked that name the best out of the ones you had on there...my next pick on there would have been Anne. Too many Madalyn's these days, although it is a very pretty name. I personally like the names Caroline(Like Care-o-line) and I love the name Rachel and Cecil.

I like all the names. Hard to chose! Am taking holiday to watch Solheim Cup on TV here in the UK. I went to Sweden and had a fantastic time. I loved watching you as you are my all time favourite golfer. Will miss you this weekend.
I often pick up your book for tips!
Best wishes.

Annika, the joy you have brought to so many is incredible. Watching all your greatest moments clip or just replaying your famous wins at the Nabisco and Bulle rock. You are an extra-ordinary person and I hope the love that so many of us have for you can be felt in a special way for you and your soon to be "Little Angel". All the best to you and Mike always. It's not the Solheim Cup without you! You are the BEST, and you always will be.

Michela - French
Feminine form of Michael, meaning gift from God.

Hi Golf54,
Just been hanging upside down reading the comments, watching the poll results and the Champ on the Golf Channel. I’m partial to names that begin with Ann. So from the looks of things Anne needs to come from behind.
But there is a name I can’t get out of my head – Callaway – Yesterday, I finally got a chance to play my home course in NJ with my new Callaway Clubs. Three ingredients make them work – time spent at The ANNIKA Academy with Henri, Charlotta & Kai, Callaway Performance Analysis System club fitting and a tune-up whenever I need it. Either in person, by email or phone with Charlotta. I add the right practice and the score takes care of itself! Your days are coming in October!
So maybe Callaway which certainly goes with McGee will be one of the ‘other’ names – or who knows maybe the Little One will be named Other? ☺
Go Anne!!!

AtC,
So you've been "chillin" and letting your "clubs do the talking" as our Mentor does.
I too have been making better swings with my X-22s and iQ driver and have actually had some "fun" rounds. I even used that very word!!
I've filled Sis's bag with Ladies X20 irons and hopefully they'll suit her as determined by the fitting at the Academy.
Sent her Golf Annika's Way and another really good short book from the Sports Heroes and Legends series (Annika Sorenstam) and she called to say that she dove right into 'em!!
I've NEVER seen her soooo excited. We both seem to be especially stoked to experience the personalized nnutritian & fitness portion of our stay.
Anyway, have lots more to say but will give you a shout 4 sure!

I am going to miss watching you in the Solheim Cup! It is not the same without you. I think Anna would be cute!

Have an 8 month old great niece named Jessica Ann. The Ann is 5 generations coming from my Great Grandma who immigrated from Sweden in 1905. No matter what you choose for a name, she will be a very special little girl.

My vote would be Emma Louise or maybe Annika Louise. Why not have your daughter named after such a beautiful MOM to be.
It was great to see your interview Annika at the Solheim Cup. It was also awesome to see the commercials of you that they aired, playing in the Solheim Cup. Such beautiful memories for you.
All the best with your delivery. It won't be long now.

Leslie had a great idea with birdie but eagle might also be nice. Just a thought and best wishes Annika and Mike
