Annika, You look so very young in that cover photo! Cute!
I am an OB-GYN nurse in the Denver area, and was kind of ticked by the author's comment on parenting as being " the thankless sport of parenting. " Ouch. No wonder it's hard to convince newly delivered moms that, though baby care is labor intensive, and very repetitious ( diaper changes and feedings 8 - 12 times a day ), it's also filled with good moments. My favorite part of my day with new moms and babies, is watching new babies just stare at their moms with fascination during a feeding. It's those moments that make it so great. I have loved watching dads adapt to their newer social role as support person for the labor, deliver, and parenting process. Though it may seem so obviously normal for them, their traditional role in the past was to be out fishin' and huntin' and bringing home food for the family.
Like your workout! May use it for shaping up for golf and skiing.

Love the exercises and trying them as soon as I finish posting.
literally, in a couple of weeks Sis Kai will be helping develop our fitness & nutritionb routines.
We've been very intrigued at what might transpire--learning his philosophy for fitness--which clearly you KEEP demonstrating in all phases of your own life.
It's very inspiring to be reminded that there is a lot of room for creativity and variety.
Well...time to exercise!

Just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday! I am a fan from the start and have followed your amazing career almost from day one. So thrilled for you and Mike with the birth of your beautiful little Ava. I always tell my two daughters (18 & 16) if they had been born a few years later, one of them would be named Annika!

not sure where to post a question about the Olympics so putting here.
In your presentation to the IOC, what was your focus?
Do you think because the 2016 will be held in a brand new place gave a positive face for golf?
In that setting do you prefer a matchplay type format vs strokeplay?
Any chance that the ANNIKA Golf Course Design will have a hand in working on the golf course(s) to be used in the 2016 Olympics?
You could name the challenging parts "Ava's Corner"!

Hey Golf 54!
I saw that Tweet and The Champ will be hitting shots at a clinic she will be conducting at the Foundation event.
For her - no doubt - it will be just like riding a bicycle - once you have done it - it comes right back.
But for the rest of us - there is always The ANNIKA Academy.

I notice that starting this season The Academy is offering specials for "alumni". I am waaaayyy to excited to soon be able to include myself with this cherished group.

Up at "1am" this morning in my nightly "can't get back to sleep" ritual (uuggh) and noticed that you had tweeted about the special women in sports gala that you got to attend.
Was wondering, do you/Mike have a sense that you might someday collaborate with other renound women in sport in business ventures?
and yes, since I'm up, going to exercise and see if that settles me down to go back to sleep B4 the alarm goes off!!
