For a first timer, Annika did pretty well. The German talk show host, Maybrit Illner, today interviews leading political figures but started out as a sports reporter on East German television. It might be a good idea for Annika to sit down with Illner and get her opinion. I imagine that if I tried to get an appointment with Illner, I would not get very far, but Annika is better known and a woman to boot, so she might have better luck. So on her next trip to Sweden, Annika might stop off in Berlin and spend an hour or two with Maybrit Illner. What's to lose? If nothing else, Annika will get to see Berlin, which I understand is well worth seeing.
